ManChurch is for men of all ages and backgrounds to deepen their relationship with Jesus through Bible study, becoming prayer warriors, and serving each other and our community. The ultimate goal of ManChurch is to develop men who are completely surrendered to Jesus as Lord of their life.
We're in a spiritual battle for the soul of our families, friends, coworkers, communities, and church. We start by identifying and engaging the battle in us first so we can stand in the gap for others. Through the power of Jesus, we stand against the enemy's attempt to kill, steal, and destroy. It's time for men to stand up and say, "Not on my watch!"
7:00-8:00 PM, The Chapel, Jana Gunter and Dawn Ziegler
Oasis is a ladies' Wednesday night elective. This fall, we're studying Relaxed: Letting Go of Self-Reliance and Trusting God by Megan Fate Marshman (study guides can be purchased at Oasis). You'll have a chance to connect with other women and share in fellowship through studying the Word. This is a great place for ladies to stop in the middle of a busy week and get recharged.
7:00-8:00 PM, C 280, Greg Taylor
We dive into God's Word each week using a list of some of the greatest chapters in the Bible. Our hope is to grow together and learn how to effectively make and multiply disciples.
6:45-8:00 PM, C 184, Phil and Jenny Ummel
This is a safe place to come and share your successes and struggles in your foster/adoptive journey. Our goal is to encourage and learn from each other as we keep our focus on God's Word. Occasional training opportunities are also available.
7:00-8:00 PM, C 281, Jean Hornish
Knit Together is a casual time for devotion, prayer, and crafting for others. We have participants who knit and crochet at a beginner's level on. Even if you don't know how to knit or crochet, you're welcome to join us - we're happy to teach you! You can bring your own supplies or use what we have available.
Seasonal Electives
7:00-8:00 PM, November 12 - December 10, Heritage Room (GH 120)
Interested in being part of a Global Impact team (NMC's short-term mission trips)? GI 101 is a requirement to go on any GI trip. This four-week class will cover topics crucial to our GI teams including cultural sensitivity, biblical basis for missions, team dynamics, and NMC expectations. 7:00-8:00 PM, November 12 - December 17, GH 222, Pastor Jason Rohde
What happens between Sunday's worship service and our interactions throughout the week? Do we lose the excitement of our hope in Jesus or never intend to share it in the first place? Join us as we explore God's Word and discover how we can become fruitful followers of Jesus.
7:00-8:00 PM, November 12 - December 17, Fireside Room, Pastor Peter Damaska
Scripture doesn't avoid questions, and God isn't frustrated by them. God welcomes us with our questions and meets us with His grace and truth. Each week, we're unpacking pressing questions that confront the Christian faith.
7:00-8:00 PM, November 12 - December 17, Courtyard Commons, Various Counselors
We're created in the image of God and formed by our experiences and faith. Each week, a counselor from Human Wellness Collective (Warsaw & Nappanee) leads a discussion on a different topic that intersects our body, mind, and spirit.
6:45-8:00 PM, October 1 - December 17, Choir Room, Priscilla Daeger
If you enjoy singing and love Christmas music, the Worship Choir welcomes singers of all ages! This season, we're rehearsing for the annual Christmas concert on Sunday, December 14 featuring festive music and a carol sing-along. In addition to the concert, the choir will sing in our Sunday morning worship services on Sunday, December 7 and 21. Questions? Email PriscillaDaeger@nmc.church.
6:15-8:00 PM, August 20 - December 17, GH 228, Alane Stutzman & Christy Harroldn
